Kevin Mitzner

Executive Director

Kevin brings almost 20 years of experience in the senior living industry to Veranda Club. His previous roles include Executive Director at a luxury senior living community in West Palm Beach, Skilled Nursing Administrator, and Associate Executive Director at a large CCRC in Boca Raton. Kevin has been CORE certified and licensed as a Skilled Nursing Administrator for over 10 years.

For Kevin, working in the senior living industry isn’t just a job. It is about building relationships with our residents, families, and all the team members that help make for the best experience for our residents. Serving residents with professionalism and gratitude allows him to become a better leader every day.

Kevin enjoys spending his free time with his three-year-old daughter Luella, and his wife Alexa. Kevin also enjoys playing soccer on Sundays and being able to get his hands dirty with yardwork.

Alan Talbott

Executive Chef

Alan Talbott is a seasoned culinary professional with 40 years of experience in the hotel, country club, and restaurant industry. Born in Baltimore, Maryland,  Alan developed a passion for cooking at a young age, which led to a degree from the Baltimore International Culinary College.

After culinary school, Alan began working in fine dining, where he cultivated a deep appreciation for fresh ingredients, scratch cooking, and elegant plate presentation. Over the years, he has worked in diverse settings, including a hockey arena in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and has dedicated 15 years to serving senior retirement communities.

Passionate about creativity in the kitchen, Alan loves designing innovative menus and organizing special events that bring joy to residents. With a commitment to quality and a love for hospitality, he continues to craft exceptional dining experiences for every guest.

Louis Kaminow

Director of Sales

As the Director of Sales for our independent and assisted living community in Boca Raton, Louis brings a deep passion for serving seniors and helping them embrace a vibrant, active lifestyle. With nearly five years of experience in the senior living industry, Louis has dedicated his career to ensuring that residents enjoy their best lives in a welcoming and enriching environment.

Before transitioning to senior living, Louis spent 23 years as a manager and investment advisor with esteemed firms, including New York Life and Prudential. He specialized in helping retirees create financial security, ensuring they would not outlive their retirement income. This commitment to supporting seniors financially inspired Louis to shift his focus to providing an exceptional quality of life in a thriving community setting.

A Boca Raton native, Louis now resides in Boynton Beach with his wife, Sara. He considers it an honor and privilege to serve the residents each day, combining professional expertise with a caring, personalized approach.

Ian Goyco

Director of Health and Wellness

I have 15 years of experience in senior living with a range of job titles along the way, but I have been a nurse for 11 of those years. I started as busboy in a senior living dining room, to team lead of Assisted living, and blessed with being able to join some amazing teams that I could manage in a leadership role. Ian is a leader and knows what direction he wants his team to move towards. Ian is a team builder and a coach to all on his team.

Ian is a local to Florida but not the Floridaman. When Ian isn’t working to better senior life, he is active in the community. Ian coaches’ youth baseball and soccer in the evenings and weekends. When not coaching his sports teams or his work team, he can be found at a pickleball court near you or watching the Panther’s hockey team. Ian likes to be active outside of work trying new things or seeing new places.
